Tim has been commissioned many times to write pieces which explore the fertile ground between improvised
and jazz related music and fully through-composed scores of a contemporary nature. His advanced orchestration-work can heard on
CDs such as the Grammy winning "The New Crystal Silence" (Chick Corea/Gary Burton) and his own CD Libra. In some cases the improvised elements can exist in fully
notated form, no longer requiring specialist musicians in this field. More...

Tim has been part of this award winning group of composers from the beginning, and is active in the mixing and editing side of his work He has created the music for the 13 part series “How The Earth Was Made” for the History Channel, amongst his recent commissions.
